The Hardest Part...
Apr/28/2008 08:39 PM
Hardest things about motherhood:
-Letting Charlotte "cry it out" (happening right now and it's killing me).
-No breaks...well, unless strategically planned.
-Nursing (enough said).
-Being completely responsible for another life...scary.
-Being ruled by my watch...what time did she eat, how long has she been asleep, etc.
-Having a different relationship with my husband (still great, just changed).
-Thinking about if anything ever happened to her...
-Doing a lot of little things and feeling like nothing is getting anything done (quite frightening for a list person).
-Loving someone so much it hurts.

Our Little Beauty.

So that's what Charlotte's name means, "little
beauty"...we enjoying getting to know each other and
staring at her sweet little face. Although there is a
major learning curve with taking care of an infant,
the encouragement of our friends and family is making
the process so much easier. Currently, she is showing
us how well her lungs have developed by screaming her
little head off...here are some pics form her more
tranquil moments (thanks for your talents Pez).
The Adventures of Space Baby.

Once there was a little baby named Charlotte.
During the day she was a sweet little baby, but sometimes when she needed strength, she had to change in her alter ego, Space Baby.
Space Baby wore special glasses and had to gather her strength from the light until she felt strong.
When she was feeling better, she was able to come back from space to her home on Earth. Space Baby's parents were happy to have her back at home.
