Charlotte Marie Carruth.

It's a girl! We can't believe it...she is sweet as can be. Charlotte was born at 8:09 p.m. weighing in at 7.5 lbs and measuring 19.75 inches in length. We are so thankful for our little one.

Permission granted.

Thank you God for this week. What a blessing. I have been on Spring Break and have been able to rest and relax. My cankles are almost back to feet and ankles respectively. Highlights from the week include but are not limited to:

-Watching the Today show in bed until I feel like getting up.
-FC Dallas game.
-Going out to breakfast.
-Taking naps whenever I feel like it.
-Going to the movies.
-Being at home.
-Reading.
-Watching TLC way too much.
-Enjoying everything as "the last time it will only be Caleb and me"

So...this morning we finished our last task, which was to take our picture in front of Perkins Chapel every year around our anniversary. So baby, permission granted to come when you are ready...if not, see you on Monday:)

I don't know why your important but you are...

We went to the FC Dallas/ LA Galaxy game on Saturday night. It was so much fun! Yes, I actually got Caleb to a soccer game and he loved it. We had great seats and the weather was beautiful...and of course it was cool to see David Beckham play soccer. The score was 0-0, but there were 3 yellow cards (including Beckham) and we almost saw a fight. Beckham is an amazing team player...not a show boat like I imagined. All this to say, every time he would take a corner kick there was a million people taking pictures of him...that's when Caleb said, "I don't know why you're important but you are..." as we both took pictures with our camera phones. It so funny the things we give importance to, even in small ways, when we know it's all very insignificant. You know I still go to my celebrity blogs...though I am trying to cut down:)

My feet.

So I have roughly 2 more weeks of pregnancy until I reach the 40 week mark...thank you God. I have been working pretty long days so by the time I get to the doctor, my ankles are huge...monstrously huge. At my last appointment my doctor pointed out that I have "Fred Flintstone" feet. He was right. I seriously would have taken a picture of them to show you...but I do have some pride:)
